| Hi, Brand new to the forum. Have a question about my auto transmission. Just bought my first z in october. 1 Week later the transmission goes out ( slipping, found clutch material in filter ) - Plans were to do 5 speed swap but did not have the cash. My co-worker who sold it to me had an extra trans that came with the jdm motor he put in. - has 85,000 km on it. So I installed the new/used Transmission and now it will not shift from first to second unless I let off the gas all the way. It also will not let me shift it manually at all - putting it in first, second or pressing o/d button does nothing. However shifts just fine between all other gears. Also If i am traveling freeway speeds and floor it, it will try to shift down to 1st gear!! Made sure fluid level is good, all connectors appear to be plugged in. Tried a different transmission computer, no change. Any ideas would help. Thanks!!
